W poście „otwierającym” chciałam się podzielić cytatem z filmu HOBBIT: NIEZWYKŁA PODRÓŻ. Kiedy oglądałam ten film pierwszy raz, zwróciłam uwagę na słowa Gandalfa:
"Saruman jest pewny, ze jedynie wielka moc może trzymać zło w szachu. Mnie się wydaje, że to nie tak. Odkryłem, że to drobiazgów, codziennych uczynków zwykłych ludzi zło nienawidzi najbardziej. Najprostszych życzliwości i miłości."

To bardzo piękna myśl. Cieszę się że w dobie popkultury i konsumpcjonizmu, gdzie wszystko jest płytkie i nastawione nie na dawanie, ale na maksymalny wyzysk drugiego człowieka, możemy jeszcze usłyszeć takie słowa, które wskazują co tak naprawdę jest ważne i dobre.

Unexpected Journey. When I watched the movie the first time I paid attention to
the words of Gandalf:
“Saruman believes it is
only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have
found. I've found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the
darkness at bay... small acts of kindness, and love.”

This is a very beautiful
thought. I am glad that in the era of pop culture and consumerism, where
everything is shallow and focused on not giving, but for maximum exploitation
another human, we can still hear those words that indicate what is really important
and good.
